![]() I dont know if related to your issue but sounds a bit similar, just dont know if google play has same issue as apple does and what is causing the loading, freezing, forgetting your credentials etc. go to the web on the computer log into brit box.engage a subscription there and then log back in the app on the apple TV. forgetting my credentials and telling me to get a subscription etc. I was having huge problems with it doing similar things hanging up in loading etc. what i found is best not doing the actual subscription via the app. though have used it over the last 12 months. It can be a clunky app even on the apple TV. ![]() I've pretty much been watching the same program since I subscribed to BritBox and I thought it might just be that particular feed that was the problem and I'm going to try another program shortly and see how that goes. Start playing the content in the BritBox app and select the AirPlay icon. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone/iPad. Check your internet connection', but the sound continues and after about 30 seconds the picture is restored. I've subscribed to BritBox for a couple of weeks now and I find it a very clunky app, freezes a bit and every hour or so, the picture drops out and a notice comes up saying 'Something Went Wrong. Then I thought I might as well ask here to see what others experiences have been. After a week I had had enough and cancelled my subscription. Then you need to put the name and password in again. The crash loses your credentials and you have to wait quite a few minutes to let it time out before trying again. Turns out, you can go in and out of the app successfully for a while, but after some time (a day or so) it will crash next time you try to start it up. I tried Netflix and Prime and all was working, so I went back to Britbox again, this time it started up, but with me logged out. ![]() The app for Britbox was duly installed, and I logged in and all was great, until a day later when I went to use it again, and it crashed with the spinning circle as it started up. However, I recently decided to give Britbox streaming a try. I run my TV using a Google Play TV device plugged into the HDMI and it's one of the best things I have used for this.
